"A War between Brothers"
"Where are we, at the end of seven days of mourning for the
destruction of the land? At the time that I write this article,
the houses have not yet been destroyed, and there are no
pictures yet of mounds of rubble from different angles. It can
be assumed that by the time you read this you will have seen
pictures of the "Hiroshima" type, of overnight destruction,
stopping time in its tracks and turning Zionist history
backwards. I have noted in the past that in this column I will
not dwell on the personal and family tragedies, which are being
described by the press. My approach is to look at the community
of Yisrael as a whole, the nation and the society. How have
these events affected us? And what will they do to us in the
future?.."

Blau, "Kol Israel", 1937 - read this article of Rav Blau (in
blessed memory) and discover that the world is still "no
different" in 2005 only 60 years after Holocaust and 57 years
after re-establishment of the State of Israel...(the link is for

The Future of
Judaism
"...Holocaust, caused the ranks of the Orthodox to be reduced to
a small minority. Their percentage of the total world Jewish
population reached a nadir in the post-World War II era, when it
declined to about 5%.
The subsequent 60 years, however, witnessed a resurgence of
the Orthodox element. This was, again, due to many factors,
especially a tendency among the non-Orthodox to marry non-Jews
and have fewer children. Recent figures on America published by
the
National Jewish Population Survey also point in this
direction. The Orthodox proportion of American synagogue
members, for example, went from 11% in 1971 to 16% in 1990 to
21% in 2000-01..." -> by Daniel Pipes

TEMPLE MOUNT INSTITUTE
Founded in 1987, is a non-profit educational and
religious organization located in the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem’s
Old City.
Despite Israel's victorious return to the Temple Mount
in the miraculous Six Day War of 1967, Moslem authorities have
embarked upon a campaign to destroy the Jewish people's historical and
Divinely-appointed connection to this holy site. Their efforts have
reached a fever pitch, and nothing is being done to stop them!
Now, for the first time, the destruction of the archeological remnants
from the Holy Temple and the sacrilege of the Temple Mount has been
documented and made public....

The Matzot and Four Cups of Wine
Complete
liberation from Egypt required that the newborn nation rid itself of
Egyptian impurity.
At the beginning of the
Torah portion Va'eira, four expressions are used with regard to
the redemption from Egypt: "I will release you... I will save you... I
will liberate you... I will take you...."
Our Sages note that
the four cups of wine which we drink during the Passover Seder
correspond to these four expressions....
PEOPLE OF ISRAEL
The Chosen People
The Klausenberger Rebbe was taken as part of a
slave-labor group from Auschwitz to Warsaw to dismantle the bombed-out
buildings. The work was done at a furious pace and consisted of
carrying heavy boulders and beams. Many people died of exhaustion.
One day, while the rebbe and his fellow
prisoners were working on top of a building, a tremendous torrent of
rain came down on them. Nevertheless, the Nazis drove them mercilessly
to continue their work. One of the poor, exhausted, and completely
drenched victims exclaimed in pain to the rebbe, "Are you going to
continue to say 'You [God] have chosen us' -- and rejoice that we are
the chosen nation?" ...
The
Reward of Terror
The twelfth Hebrew month
is Adar (March) and the 15th of Adar this year, 5763, was
12 years to the day since the cessation of the first Gulf War; it was
also the date of the commencement of hostilities in the current
conflict. The fact that the prophet states this time reference could
therefore be taken to mean that the word of G-d was directed to
exactly our time. It also comes in the context of the first Gulf war
when Iraq/Babylon did indeed attack Israel....
